Hi there! I'm Emily. After taking a tour of the Midwest through my undergraduate and graduate studies, I brought the lab to Columbia, MO. Here, I'm an Assistant Extension Professor at the University of Missouri and Lincoln University. I love investigating insect chemical ecology and the Missouri food scene!

My name is Elizabeth Lumley, and I'm a first-year master's student exploring how herbicide drift affects insects in arboreal ecosystems. I'm passionate about ecology, especially when it involves how humans influence and interact with the ecosystems we're part of!

Hi, I'm Lily! After studying Environmental Systems at UC San Diego, I am very excited to follow my love for insects into graduate school at Mizzou! My project is focused on the effects of herbicides on insect biodiversity.  

Jeo has joined our crew to conduct independent research on the Bindweed Mite as a biological control agent. This is a problem that was brought to us by our collaborators at the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture. Stay tuned for what we find out! 

After investigating insects at Shaw Nature Reserve and at the Butterfly House, Ally decided to start research right away as a freshman at Mizzou! We have the joy of sharing her with the U.S. Forest Service while she studies scale insects and assesses funnel traps for potential invasive species. 

Noelle is an undergraduate student studying plant sciences with an emphasis in Biology, Breeding, and Biotechnology. She is interested plant-insect interactions. Noelle was recently awarded the CAFNR Undergraduate Research Internship for her work on Polyphemus moths.
